The Wonderful World of Disney on Ice

February 1-4, Bojangles’ Coliseum

Watch as your favorite Disney characters come to life on an inspiring walk down memory lane with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and other Disney friends. Explore the ocean with Nemo and Marlin from Finding Nemo, travel to Arendelle with Anna, Elsa and Olaf from Frozen and much more! Tickets start at $20.

2nd Annual Puppy Bowl

February 4, Lucky Dog Bark & Brew

The 2nd Annual Puppy Bowl comes to Charlotte this weekend with adorable and adoptable puppies from Pits and Giggles Rescue, costume contests and raffles for Lucky Dog prizes! Come wearing your favorite team’s gear and show off your furry friends’ sporty looks. The event will benefit Pits and Giggles Rescue, whose mission is to raise awareness about the importance of responsible spay and neuter programs.

Frigid 5K Run and Plunge

February 10, US National Whitewater Center

Grab your tennis shoes and swim trunks and head over to the US National Whitewater Center for the Frigid 5k Run and Plunge. Warm up with a 5k run through the Whitewater Center trail system, then be among the first to cool down very quickly as you leap into the chilly waters of the Catawba River. Awards will be given to the top three male/female finishers in certain age groups.

Uptown Crawl

February 22, Uptown Center City Charlotte

This free event is a great way to experience Charlotte’s Uptown culture during the Uptown Crawl. The crawl features Uptown art galleries and museums with free trolley rides between each exhibit along the Tryon Street corridor. For more information visit their Facebook page.

Ride at the Hive

February 24, Spectrum Center

At the Spectrum Center, Saturdays are for brunch, mimosas, shopping and cycling on February 24. Hang out at the home of your favorite NBA team while raising money for the Charlotte Hornets Foundation. Local vendors will be set up so you can shop before or after you cycle. There will also be a silent auction with amazing items on display. With prizes ranging from floor seats to any Hornets game to signed Hornets memorabilia, there’s no reason not to support this foundation!

2018 CIAA Tournament

February 27-March 3, Bojangles’ Coliseum

Buy your ticket to the 2018 CIAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament at the end of the month in Charlotte! Early round game sessions will be held at Bojangles’ Coliseum on February 27-28, followed by quarterfinals, semifinals and championship rounds at Spectrum Center from March 1-3. Tickets can be found online.
